Goddess Birth Signs - What's Yours?

Pre-dating Astrology are the ancient gods and goddesses of all time. Each culture had its own divine being or pantheon of deities, yet they all transcended earthly borders and time with common attributes: security, creation, power, benevolence, judiciousness, wisdom and divinity.

And, each deity's energy was more evident at certain times of the year, season or moon cycle than at other times. But just like astrology, goddess energy defines who we are and what our life purpose may be.

When i found this site recently i discovered that my Birth Sign Goddess is Demeter. I found this really fascinating because that is the name i picked out for my gorgeous little cat when i got her 5 years ago...... (She is definately my own little goddess)

I read the information about Goddess Birth Signs with interest. I am right in the middle of Hestia. I am so organized sometimes even I wonder if I can ever change. Of course, I'm married to a wonderful woman who is outgoing and spontaneous. She and I are born six months apart, so I guess that balances our needs and desires. I feel a little of the female within me, and she helps nurture that. So, press on and enjoy life!

My Goddess sign is Venus. This describes parts of me quite well. I am a very sensual woman and do enjoy the love of my husband with passion and depth. I have always had a certain presence and am usually noticed in a crowd. In my younger years I struggled with self criticism but have learned to love myself with the help of the Goddess. I now live my life from a place of positive energy and have become a conduit for this energy.

Being a huge Stevie Nicks fan, I had a moment of 'wow!' when I saw that my birth sign is under Rhiannon. Perfect!

On further research. The description on the Goddess.com.au page proves MUCH more accurate, much more positive and yes, quite accurate I feel!

I didn't expect to be Hathor, but when I read the description it fits perfectly for the stage of life I am at right now....always thought of myself as a Demeter...of course there are similarities. Love your column by the way!
