"My sense is that in the next 50 years there will be circles of women all around the planet who will be trained to ... heal the damage that has been done to the spiritual body of the world, and then they can activate it and re-energise the world."
This is a prediction made by Llewelyn Vaughn-Lee, contemporary Sufi teacher, in a speech about Women and the Healing of the Earth, that he made in New Zealand in 2007. My initial reaction was, "Fifty years? It's already happening!"

All I can say is 'WOW'. His speech gave me goosebumps. But it made me realize why I started changing several years ago. Since then, I have been very focused on what I can do to help Mother Earth, and teaching my children to be as respectful as possible. I am truly blessed to have a husband who has the same beliefs and is very supportive of everything I do.
I like to believe too that it is already happening. I probably do not have 50 years to wait for it.

I am so glad that the power of the woman is being recognised and honoured for what it is by both men and women. I feel so joyful, so hopeful when I think of this. And for me, there is nothing more beautiful than the sacred relationship between Man, the Protector, and Woman, the Nurturer and Giver of Life. I have been studying this relationship in Celtic mythology between the Sun-God and Earth-Goddess, and it is so great to see it resurfacing in our modern world. A truly wonderful speech!
